Position: Web Designer
Salary: Dependant on experience
Location: Team Valley, Gateshead

Due to our continual growth, we are looking to hire a talented and enthusiastic web designer. You will be working alongside our existing team of web and graphic designers on a range of exciting new and existing projects.

Your role will include, creating PSD mock-ups for new sites, coding both static and WordPress layouts, designing and coding of email newsletter templates and updating existing websites.

You should have strong portfolio of work, as well as good problem solving skills and the passion to continue advancing your skill set. You should also feel comfortable liaising with clients directly and be capable of handling multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Essential:
Strong skills in web design & front end development (including hand-coding HTML and CSS)
The ability to develop sites within WordPress.
Knowledge of accessibility & cross compatibility issues
Experience with Photoshop
Excellent communication skills

Desirable skills:
Knowledge of e-commerce systems
jQuery
Onsite SEO
